Through life capability management is now seen as a vital element in the approach to the acquisition and management of capability in which all aspects of the Defence Lines of Development (DLoD) are considered through the entire life of that capability from cradle to grave.
Our approach to software solutions matches the consideration that MoD have for through life capability management, minimising maintenance and support costs and promoting the single data-repository concept.

BMT have supplied several management systems to the MoD, from research and development organisation DSTL, to the equipment procurement and support area Defence Equipment & Support.
Our graphically rich applications can be used over the Restricted LAN Interconnect (RLI), or on a designated secure network. These systems also provide a document repository area so project teams can share information easily without the constraints of their local infrastructure.
